The other day Katie and I had the opportunity to go to a medieval festival not far from where we are staying here in France. It was a small festival with singing, dancing, and all kinds of grown men attacking each other with swords. Truly a good time. It was really just like some of the Renaissance Festivals in the United States, except for one thing... this festival took place in the shadow of an old château from the early 13th century. The band in the video above was quite amusing and talented. They were probably the best part of the festival... well, except for the home-made crêpes that were cooked over an open fire.
